Course Requirements for Undergraduate Students

GUIDELINE

1 Maximum tenure: 4 years for undergraduates, who therein complete all the courses taken with satisfactory scores are to be graduated.

2Number of credit hours are set as follows:

A. The minimum of credit hours is 138. This requirement was passed at the

Departments Staff Meeting March 8, 2016 , as shown in the following figure.

B. Both Physical Education and Military Training are credit-free.

C. Upper/Lower limits of credit hours per semester are listed as follows:

D. Those with grade mean scores over 80 have no upper limits.

E. Students of the lower grades are not allowed to take courses offered to upper grades only.

 

3. Grouping

A. All the courses of the Department fall into 6 groups:
General Special Education,Education for Disabilities,
The Gifted /Talented Education ,severe-impaired Education,
hearing-impaired Education and visual-impaired Education.

B. All the students are necessary to choose one among Education for Disabilities, Education for Giftedness and Disabilities, and Gifted Education.

 

4. Minors

A. Each and every student except freshmen of all departments is allowed to choose his or herminor.

B. Minor credit hours are counted on top of the department-required 138.
